Luke Luchetti Nails Down the March Medal.

Luke Luchetti had a resounding win in the March Monthly Medal at Pambula-Merimbula on Saturday, firing a great 65 nett to lead the field by 3 shots.

Luke joined the playing ranks at PMGC as a follow up of the Tradies Days, becoming a very keen golfer and regular competitor in club events, so it was indeed great to see Luke win his first Monthly Medal, following the lead set by some of the new brigade.

Andreas Schulz kept his recent hot streak alive by winning The A grade (71 nett), Martin Fraser, another in hot form recently kept his Winx streak alive winning the B grade cash and probably doing enough to be an A grader from here on (nett 69 very tidy Marty).Kevin Dyer, one of our fine English gentlemen, took the D grade cash Kev will need the cash in a few months when the Aussie lads towel up the Poms in the Ashes, Hopefully!

Rudi Kraxner took the Sails Real Estate cash $188 again, becoming monotonous reporting all your wins Rudi. Well done again.

Club Champion Nick Crundall shot 75 to record the best gross score in the medal round and all players on 75 nett or less were a recipient of a ball down the line.

The stars in the ladies comps this week were the ever reliable Carlene Ramsay and Kerri Freeman on Tuesday with 35 and 33 points respectively.

Robyn Davis led the Thursday field with 33 points, and 74 nett on Saturday saw Helen Fisher greet the judge in first spot.

The ladies competing over the shorter distance (9 holes) this week were led by Jeanice Crawford and Judith Young, two very consistent performers.

Allan Rowlands kept up his recent improvement, convincingly coming out on top of the 155 players with a fantastic 46 points on Wednesday.

Once again Andreas Schulz was the A grade winner (41 points) great work Andreas.

Simon Cook (44 points) and Ivo Pacalt (43 points) won B and C grade, unlucky to strike Al in such fine form in the score of the day Simon.

Two changes of date in the next month to note are: Tradies Day now on March 15th not the 8th, due to the race meeting at Kalaru, which a good few of the regulars are tied up with. The second change will see the next nine and dine coming forward one week now March 24th instead of March 31st, due to many of the regulars being on a golfing trip to Yarrawonga that week.

The last round of the 2019 FSCDGA pennant series was played at Tathra on Sunday with both the Division 1 and Division 2 successful, the seniors tried hard without luck this time. The div 2 boys have made the semis to be played in the northern sector of the association on Sunday 17th of March.
